Social Media & Community Experience

Reedy River Duck Derby

Every year the Greenville Evening Rotary hosts the Reedy River Duck Derby where hundreds of rubber duckies float down Greenville's Reedy River. The derby is a community fundraising event that brings forth thousands of visitors to the area. I created a website through the wix platform, maintained a blog, twitter and flickr, and created and scripted a promotional video for the event. We targeted families in the Greenville, South Carolina with young children

Fitness Rebellion

Anytime Fitness has created the Fitness Rebellion community to encourage and inspire its members across the nation. Brains on Fire created a website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest account to promote the community and create conversation.

As the Brains on Fire Intern, I assisted in community management by monitoring their social media channels and editing blog posts written by Fitness Rebels.

FoFlor by Bungalow

Having created the popular tote bag brand SCOUT, Bungalow LLC looks to provide functional and innovative flooring through FoFlor. The patented material allows for the cushion and aesthetic of traditional rugs to be machine washable and dry-able, slip resistant, and low profile. The flooring has garnered a cult following with its mix of SCOUT prints, barn board line, and micro fiber.

As FoFlor Development Intern, I reorganized their website with subgroups to increase usability, created a FoFlor Pinterest Board, and monitored the Facebook page, increasing the fans by 20% during my 6 weeks. In addition, I coordinated flash sales with E-commerce sites such as Fab.com and SneakPeeq.
